Job summary

British American Tobacco Mexico is seeking a Data Engineer Analyst in Monterrey within the DBS Function to support the Canada Marketing – Insights & Foresights BI team.

The role combines data engineering with analytics, building ETL pipelines, collaborating with data scientists, and delivering scalable data solutions for FMCG trade and head office insights. Advanced English is required; agile methods and cross-functional collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a similar role with data-driven business delivery.
• Experience with data scientists on product development.
• Strong technical foundation across Python, Azure Databricks, Spark, and SQL.
• Advanced English written and verbal communication.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and PSPO.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data pipelines for timely performance insights.
• Build ETL pipelines for POS and VAPS data with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists to validate data and deploy ETL requests.
• Enable scalable data management architecture for digital Trade apps.
• Support advanced analytics solutions for trade and head office.
