AgileEngine, LLC. is looking for a Mid-level Data Engineer to build and maintain dbt pipelines and Snowflake data marts powering customer reporting, spend analytics, and AI features.

You will ingest data with Airbyte/Prefect, implement data quality checks, and help shape the semantic layer and APIs for reporting. Strong SQL, Python, and cloud warehouse experience are required, with upper-intermediate English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering on production pipelines.
• Solid dbt experience: modeling, tests, macros, and incremental models.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Data modeling fundamentals: dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Experience with a modern cloud warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with ingestion tools and orchestration (Airbyte, Prefect, or equivalents).
• Familiarity with guardrails around data tooling and AI-enabled workflows.
• Curiosity about how data supports business decisions.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
• Translate procurement logic into maintainable production pipelines.
• Develop data models within data mart architecture with conformed dimensions and grain.
• Contribute to semantic layer for consistent metrics and dimensions.
• Maintain boundary between PII and reporting-safe data.
• Build and maintain FastAPI services exposing reporting marts.
• Create ingestion pipelines (Airbyte, OneSchema, S3) into the warehouse.
• Implement data quality checks and alerting to surface issues early.
• Document lineage and ensure governance of metrics and definitions.
