Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Lead for a data center project in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. You will develop QA strategies, mentor a team, and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

You will oversee test planning, risk mitigation, and validation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Excellent English communication and leadership skills are essential for coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in leadership or supervision
• Proven expertise in data center infrastructure, operations, and quality standards
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and industry best practices
• Experience with test planning, test case development, and test execution
• Proficiency in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and problem-solving
• Experience with quality management tools and test automation platforms
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a detail-oriented approach
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish preferred
• Experience with ITIL, ISO 9001 or similar quality certifications is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Budget and vendor management experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies and testing plans for data center standards
• Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, guiding performance and development
• Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation strategies
• Design and oversee test cases, scenarios, and automated testing frameworks
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate with dev/ops to resolve issues
• Establish and monitor KPIs and quality metrics for project compliance
• Prepare detailed quality reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to data center compliance standards and regulations
• Coordinate with vendors to validate quality requirements
• Organize QA training sessions for project team members
