Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support defense operations, monitor system activity, and correlate events to identify threats. The role requires documenting incidents, delivering timely alerts, and reporting on security posture trends across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include leveraging Purview tools, Defender and Sentinel, handling incidents, and coordinating with management and responders to mitigate risks. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows OS; Linux/OSX knowledge beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to source data from multiple information sources to prepare presentations and reports.
• Apply cybersecurity principles to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview tools and Sentinel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and elevate incidents with history, status and potential impact.
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
• Conduct event correlation to assess attack effectiveness and situational awareness.
• Plan modifications based on exercise results or system changes.
• Provide timely detection and alerting of possible attacks or intrusions.
