Job summary

Familiarity with Purview and Sentinel will aid in governance, monitoring, and threat analysis. The position involves collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing security improvements.

Qualifications

• Must understand Windows OS; Linux/OSX knowledge beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to utilize information sources and tools to source data for intelligence, assessment, and planning to produce presentations/reports.
• Apply cybersecurity principles to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview tooling and related cybersecurity tasks.

Responsibilities

• Audit, analyze, and report on the security of UL Solutions and related processes.
• Discover and perform analysis to resolve complex security problems.
• Support investigations and research for computer security violations.
• Conduct log analysis to identify malicious activity and anomalous behavior.
• Plan, design, enforce and audit security policies and procedures.
• Cyber Defense operations: respond to DLP alerts, Insider Risk alerts, insider threat monitoring, metrics management.
• Gather and report Threat Intelligence; assist threat-hunting services.
• Prepare reports with recommendations and support presenting them to groups.
• Support in developing and delivering reports and presentations.
• Performs other duties as directed.
