Jobtailor in Mexico is seeking a skilled Customs Compliance Analyst to map and improve end-to-end customs processes, reduce disruption risk, and drive KPIs. You will coordinate with brokers and service providers, analyze shipment data, and implement preventive actions under pressure.

The role requires strong MX regulations knowledge, bilingual Spanish/English, and a proactive mindset to support international trade operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in the customs space.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.
• Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, trade laws, and import/export processes.
• Experience coordinating customs brokers and service providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
• Proven ability to operate in high-pressure, shifting-priority environments.

Responsabilidades

• Review, map, and document end-to-end customs processes to capture activity and mitigate disruptions.
• Review reports regularly to track shipment status and identify risks or deviations.
• Ensure shipments cross within target timeframes, coordinating preventive and corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of shipment holds/delays and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up on shipments held due to customs issues escalated by logistics.
• Develop analytic tools.
• Develop performance metrics.

• Review, map, and document end-to-end customs processes to ensure comprehensive activity capture and mitigate risk of shipment disruptions related to customs compliance
• Review reports regularly to track shipment status and identify potential risks or deviations
• Ensure shipments cross within target timeframes, coordinating preventive and corrective actions as needed
• Identify root causes of shipment holds/delays and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
• Follow up on shipments held due to customs issues, escalated by the logistics team, through resolution
• Develop analytic tools
• Develop performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar
• 4+ Years of Experience in the Customs space
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export processes
• Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven capacity to operate effectively in high-pressure situations characterized by shifting priorities and evolving business requirements
