Indegene Inc. in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking a Country Manager - Mexico to oversee HR, compliance and people operations with an operational breadth. This hands-on role partners with offshore GDC teams to set strategic direction and ensure smooth day-to-day execution.

You will work across HR, Finance, Legal and Operations in a matrixed environment, guiding onboarding, payroll, benefits, and exit processes while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and Indegene policies.

This is a hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Role Overview

The Country Manager - Mexico is an HR generalist role with operational breadth. This person will manage day-to-day HR, compliance, and people operations in Mexico, working closely with offshore GDC teams who set the strategic direction.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. The right candidate is organized, people-oriented, and comfortable working across functions - HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations - in a matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition Support Partner
   • Coordinate with onshore Talent Acquisition teams and local staffing vendors to support hiring needs in Mexico.
   • Manage vendor relationships and ensure hiring pipelines are active and well-maintained.
   • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for Mexico-based hires - from offer letter through to Day 1 readiness.
   • Coordinate with TAG and HROps on offer support, induction facilitation, and onboarding paperwork.
   • Ensure all new hires are registered with local authorities (IMSS, SAT) accurately and on time.
2. HR & Employee Relations and Workforce Management
   • Serve as the onsite point of contact for HR, Finance, Legal, and operational matters, working closely with offshore teams.
   • Coordinate with local payroll partners for payroll processing, tax documentation, social security contributions, and statutory deductions.
   • Manage employee benefit vendors - including insurance and food vouchers (vales de despensa).
   • Work with the offshore GDC team to implement and roll out SOPs for Mexico operations.
   • Support governance and compliance controls at the country level.
   • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and workplace concerns.
   • Partner with HR Business Partners to support employee engagement and career development.
   • Manage the end-to-end exit process - exit interviews, full and final settlements, and statutory deregistration.
   • Coordinate with IT for access deactivation and hardware recovery, and with benefit partners for benefits closure.
   • Ensure all exit steps comply with Mexican labor law and Indegene policy.
3. Change Support Partner
   • Support communication and readiness during organizational or operational changes.
   • Flag talent retention risks and coordinate with HR Business Partners on appropriate actions.
   • Assist with learning and development coordination, onboarding curricula, and knowledge transfer cycles.
