Goodyear Mexico is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead cost accounting, reporting, and budgeting initiatives within our manufacturing and commercial operations. You will drive cost optimization through robust financial analysis and controls.

The role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX compliance, with 5+ years in Finance/Cost Accounting and leadership experience. Proficiency in SAP ERP and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years in finance, controlling or cost accounting, with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced English and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end cost closing and reporting.
• Analyze cost variances, identify financial risks, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, and company policies.
• Oversee inventory controls, fixed assets, CAPEX, and the Fixed Asset Analyst.
• Partner with plant operations, engineering, and corporate finance to improve financial performance.
