Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Cost Control Manager to lead cost accounting, reporting, and financial controls across the organization. The role focuses on safeguarding assets, improving cost efficiency, and delivering insights to drive performance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 5+ years in finance or cost accounting with leadership experience, and strong SAP/ERP expertise, along with advanced English and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in Finance, Controlling, or Cost Accounting with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced English and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end cost closing and reporting.
• Analyze cost variances, identify financial risks, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, and company policies.
• Oversee inventory controls, fixed assets, CAPEX, and related processes.
• Partner with plant operations, engineering, and corporate finance to improve financial performance.
