RÖDL México in Mexico City is seeking a business-oriented lawyer to join our Legal Practice. The role focuses on commercial contracts, day-to-day corporate advisory, and practical legal support for multinational clients operating in Mexico.

Formación

• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, day-to-day corporate advisory, and regulatory/compliance matters.
• Exposure to labor and employment advisory matters is highly valued.
• Experience advising multinational companies is highly preferred.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Previous experience at an international law firm, multidisciplinary firm, Big 4 or in-house legal department is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial, operational and corporate agreements, and provide practical legal support for day-to-day business operations
• Day-to-day legal advisory for multinational companies operating in Mexico
• Support in corporate, compliance and regulatory matters
• Support labor and employment advisory matters from preventive and business-oriented perspective
• Participation in corporate restructurings, transactional and governance matters
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including tax, accounting, payroll, HR and audit
• Direct communication with international clients and foreign management teams
• Practical legal support for operational business decisions
• Follow-up and independent handling of client requests and ongoing matters

At RÖDL México, we advise international companies doing business in Mexico, particularly European groups with ongoing operational, commercial, corporate, employment and compliance needs.

We are currently looking for a business-oriented lawyer to join our Legal Practice in Mexico City.

This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in commercial contracts, day-to-day corporate advisory and practical legal support for multinational companies-beyond purely corporate housekeeping work.

Main Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial, operational and corporate agreements, as well as providing practical legal support for day-to-day business operations
• Day-to-day legal advisory for multinational companies operating in Mexico
• Support in corporate, compliance and regulatory matters
• Support in labor and employment related advisory matters from a preventive and business-oriented perspective
• Participation in corporate restructurings, transactional and governance matters
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including tax, accounting, payroll, HR and audit
• Direct communication with international clients and foreign management teams
• Practical legal support for operational business decisions
• Follow-up and independent handling of client requests and ongoing matters

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university
• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant professional experience

• Exposure to labor/employment advisory matters is highly valued
• Experience advising multinational companies is highly preferred
• Experience or interest in legal operations, legal tech tools or process improvement initiatives is a plus
• Commercially minded with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Previous experience at an international law firm, multidisciplinary firm, Big 4 or in-house legal department is preferred
