Jabil is seeking a test engineering professional to handle complex assignments across all Workcell diagnostic/testing from ICT or FVT perspectives. The role focuses on improving yields by reducing operator errors and driving defect resolution through engineering support.

You will assist with maintenance programs, track downtime, and ensure compliance with quality standards at a high-volume manufacturing site.

Formación

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: degree, Technical School Certification, or equivalent and 5 to 10 years experience. Knowledge and understanding of all test engineering department’s procedures pertaining to the individual’s job.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze daily process yield reports including operator errors, defective product, test equipment/test defects, and spear corrective actions.
• Increase production yields by reducing operator errors and driving manufacturing/test defects back to the appropriate department.
• Assist Test Engineer in developing preventative maintenance program and ensure compliance to reduce downtime and increase yields.
• Analyze downtime sheets to set guidelines for preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Maintain process bibles and review 5x5’s for adherence.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct NP I test evaluations and proactively prevent test escapes.
• Ensure product testing completeness and reliability and update documentation as required.
