HSBC está buscando un tester de control con experiencia para unirse a su GSC en México. El rol implica ejecutar pruebas de control en un entorno 1LoD, con entrega de informes y seguimiento de hallazgos.

Se requiere al menos 3–5 años en pruebas de control en servicios financieros, dominio del inglés y capacidad de colaborar de forma proactiva con stakeholders clave y equipos de auditoría interna.

Formación

• Mínimo 3–5 años de experiencia en pruebas de control en servicios financieros.
• Conocimiento de control interno, auditoría interna o gestión de riesgos en entornos bancarios.
• Fluencia en inglés y habilidades de redacción sobresalientes.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar y gestionar pruebas de control en un marco 1LoD independiente.
• Entregar pruebas de control a tiempo y con entregables claros y precisos.
• Aplicar juicio para identificar riesgos y emitir hallazgos de control.
• Asegurar calidad y cumplimiento con la metodología de pruebas de control GCCOO.
• Asesorar sobre pruebas de control y coordinar con interesados internos?
• Mantener relaciones con stakeholders y alertar sobre cambios regulatorios.
• Elaborar y seguir informes de pruebas para informar resultados.
• Dar seguimiento a acciones y escalar cuando sea necesario.

Department: - GCCOO (Group Chief Control Oversight Office) Control Tester roles act as an independent First Line of Defence (1LoD).

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Control Tester.

Main activities

• Carrying out thorough preparation, driving and participating in execution of a wide range of Business control testing activities
• Timely delivery of control testing and being transparent and accurate in the completion of testing deliverables
• Applying judgment in relation to the identification and publication of control testing findings through identifying the key risks and issues
• Embedding quality into the control testing deliverables and ensuring compliance with the GCCOO Control Testing Methodology
• Providing expertise and guidance on control testing across CCO and applying critical judgment and decision making in relation to the identification and publication of control testing findings through identifying the key risks and issues
• Maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders including keeping abreast of key business, regulatory and industry developments and any changes to procedures and practices
• Supporting the preparation of testing reports to inform key stakeholders of the outcome of testing and review work.
• Track and follow-up actions identified as a result of testing and review work and escalating when necessary.
• Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any supporting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Controls testing in Financial Service industry / Process assessment experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge in management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a financial / banking services operations environment
• Fluent English and strong writing skills.
• SOX, NON-SOX, Internal Control, Automated control Testing (BACs)
• Risk qualifications (i.e. CIA -Certified Internal Auditor, FRM – Financial Risk Manager) are desirable.
• Self-starter and effective collaborator.
