LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex development initiatives and contribute to the design of legal technology solutions in Mexico City. You will mentor developers and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact projects.

You will drive architectural decisions, optimize data models, and ensure scalable, robust code while collaborating with customers and end users to capture requirements.

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City or willing to commute to Reforma office twice weekly.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#) and Angular.

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex development initiatives, solve technical challenges, and contribute to the design and architecture of our legal technology solutions. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners, mentoring developers, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City or willing to commute 2 days per week to our Reforma office.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#) and JavaScript (Angular), and modern development tools.
• Expertise in data modeling, optimization, and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with architectural principles and scalable system design.
• Experience working with diverse teams and external technology providers.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
