Amazon is seeking a Category Manager for Construction in Mexico City to lead multi-disciplinary site projects, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver savings across the category. You will work with Pre-Construction, Design, Real-Estate, and Sustainability teams.

The role requires 5+ years in program or project management, cross-functional collaboration, and a background in construction materials or sustainability.

Formación

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL knowledge.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsabilidades

• Lead Construction & Materials strategies for multi-site projects and own delivery of complex sites.
• Develop and deliver long-term sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams; influence category roadmap.
• Plan and execute site launches to meet construction programs, incl. peak seasons.
• Own targets and drive process and system improvements across the category.
• Manage supplier sourcing, contracting and performance to optimize cost and quality.
• Lead supplier performance management with sustainability and social responsibility.
• Set KPIs and monitor progress to meet customer expectations.
• Act as a market intelligence provider and inform stakeholders.
