Amazon Mexico Consumables seeks a Sr. Instock Manager to own end-to-end inventory strategy, performance, and optimization for a category portfolio with significant autonomy.

You will define annual instock plans, lead CPFR forecasting, and optimize replenishment across the vendor portfolio, collaborating with multiple functions to drive category-level results and supply chain improvements.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
  • Track record of independently defining and executing category-level operational strategy in ambiguous environments where the strategy was not defined.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, retail, program management, or business strategy roles with demonstrated category-level or portfolio-level P&L impact.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing across 3+ functions to achieve shared goals without direct authority.
  • Experience writing narratives and presenting to senior leadership (Director+).

Responsabilidades

  • Define and own the annual instock strategic and operational plan for the category, including availability targets (SoROOS), cost-to-serve goals, inventory turns, and inventory health metrics.
  • Lead CPFR strategy at the category level — owning monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast alignment across the vendor portfolio and ensuring buying input parameters are optimized across all accounts.
  • Audit and optimize complex forecasting, IPC, and Supply Chain systems to ensure performance within goal/control limits; create long-term category solutions that automate or simplify replenishment and ordering processes.
  • Identify, manage, and execute multiple medium-to-large supply chain programs that are cross-functional and involve external partners — from CTS roadmap execution to placement optimization to vendor operational performance improvements.

The Sr. Instock Manager owns the end-to-end inventory strategy, operational performance, and supply chain optimization for a category portfolio within Amazon Mexico Consumables. The role operates with significant autonomy and discretion — the strategy may not be defined, and the specialist uses expertise and judgment to determine the right goals, design long-term solutions, and deliver independently.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Define and own the annual instock strategic and operational plan for the category, including availability targets (SoROOS), cost-to-serve goals, inventory turns, and inventory health metrics
  2. Lead CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) strategy at the category level — owning monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast alignment across the vendor portfolio and ensuring buying input parameters are optimized across all accounts
  3. Audit and optimize complex forecasting, IPC, and Supply Chain systems to ensure performance within goal/control limits; create long-term category solutions that automate or simplify replenishment and ordering processes

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Track record of independently defining and executing category-level operational strategy in ambiguous environments where the strategy was not defined — the candidate identified the problem, designed the solution, and drove alignment across stakeholders
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, retail, program management, or business strategy roles with demonstrated category-level or portfolio-level P&L impact
  • Demonstrated experience influencing across 3+ functions (e.g., Retail, Operations, Finance, Technology, Vendors) to achieve shared goals without direct authority
  • Experience writing narratives (6-pagers, business reviews, COEs, or equivalent strategic documents) and presenting to senior leadership (Director+)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience creating annual strategic and operational plans for a business or category and owning inputs into annual planning processes
  • MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Strategy, or related field
