Emergent Cold in Monterrey, Mexico, invites a Regional Lead – Compliance Audit to define annual plans, templates and severity criteria, and coordinate cross-audit rotations across Latin America. You will monitor findings, track open actions, and prepare reports for the Compliance Director and Committee.

Role requires 2–3 years in compliance or audit, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Mexican regulations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Auditing (CPA) or Law is required.
• Desirable: postgraduate studies in Compliance.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in compliance or audit roles.
• Experience at a Big 4 firm and/or a multinational company is desirable.
• Knowledge of corporate compliance programs and internal control design.

We are excited to provide you with opportunities to grow.Responsabilities:Regional lead – Compliance Audit Plan: define the annual plan, methodology, report templates and severity criteria; assign the cross-audit rotation; review the quality of all audit reports; consolidate metrics (plan progress, findings by severity, open/overdue action plans, closure time, recurrence) and whistleblower channel metrics, and support internal investigations as required and prepare reports for the Compliance Director and the Compliance Committee; coordinate with Internal Audit (once established) on the audit universe and calendar to avoid duplication.Execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan in Mexico and the Caribbean: control testing, sample reviews and follow-up of third parties.Act as cross-auditor in formal compliance audits (second line) of other platforms, according to the regional audit plan and rotation; never auditing their own platform or a process whose methodology they lead.Support audits of Mexico and the Caribbean performed by other analysts (local coordination, documentation and logistics).Follow up on action plans with local management in Mexico and the Caribbean until closure, recording findings and status in the regional tracker.Propose internal controls based on the results of audits and monitoring activities.Deliver the regional training in Mexico and the Caribbean with the support of local Legal, adapting it locally (language, examples, in-person sessions); own the follow-up on completion with local management; contribute subject-matter content to the regional plan.Manage third parties in Mexico and the Caribbean in accordance with the regional Due Diligence Policy and the supplier portal.Coordinate compliance initiatives in Mexico and the Caribbean and align methodology and reporting with the other platform analysts.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Auditing (CPA) or Law (required).Additional Education:Desirable: postgraduate studies in Compliance.Required experience / DesireableRequired: minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in compliance or audit roles.Desirable: experience at a Big 4 firm and/or a multinational company.Technical knowledgeElements of corporate compliance programs (anti-corruption, antitrust, code of conduct, whistleblower channel).Audit and monitoring methodologies, risk assessment and internal control design.Third-party due diligence processes.Internal audit standards and methodology (IIA).Mexican regulatory framework on anti-corruption, economic competition and personal data protection; Caribbean frameworks desirable.Advanced Excel; data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI desirable).Other skills / behavioral Competences:Integrity and confidentiality.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Clear written and oral communication, including training delivery.Autonomy and ability to coordinate with multicultural, multi-country teams.Results orientation and follow-through.Languages:Spanish: native or advanced.English: intermediate (minimum).Let's redefine the future of the cold chain in Latin America together!We are looking for you!
