Flex is seeking a Commodity Manager Indirect in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect. You will oversee indirect material sourcing, supplier base management, and strategic commodity planning to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

You will partner with regional and global teams to drive savings, negotiate with suppliers, and develop scope of work for services to optimize project costs. Flex offers a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing indirect goods and service categories.
• Experience leading complex sourcing events and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and control functions.
• Experience presenting recommendations, risks, and results to senior management
• Formal training in contract management, finance, data analytics, or negotiation.

• Meet or exceed cost reduction goals with time frames and build long-term relationships.
• Monitor market conditions, technology roadmaps, and supply-demand trends.
• Collaborate with site purchasing managers to define scope of work for services to optimize costs.
• Provide guidance for resolution of complex estimating and procurement assignments.
• Work with regional teams and site NPP/MRO to drive savings across sites.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Commodity Manager Indirect, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

_ What a typical day looks like: _

• Responsible for supporting indirect material sourcing and supply base management strategies and policies. Participate and provide direction in the development of preferred suppliers working closely with regional and global teams.
• Work closely with regional and global teams to develop strategies that will drive synergy savings.
• Implement and communicate strategic and preferred commodity plans designed to meet site performance goals.
• Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals with agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit Flex worldwide.
• Monitor current market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply-demand trends.
• Work with site purchasing managers to develop the scope of work for services to optimize project costs by implementing approved quotation process.
• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating and/or procurement assignments.
• Work closely with regional teams and with site NPP and MRO teams to develop strategies that will drive synergies savings across the sites.

_ The experience we’re looking to add to our team: _

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply-chain experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing indirect goods and service categories.
• Experience leading complex sourcing events and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and control functions.
• Experience presenting recommendations, risks, and results to senior management
• CPSM, C.P.M., MCIPS, CPIM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent professional certification.
• Formal training in contract management, finance, data analytics, or negotiation
