Job summary

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated Quality Intern/Co-op to join our team in Mexico. This part-time trainee role offers hands-on exposure to quality assurance in automotive electronics and supports the development of QA procedures, data analysis, and root-cause investigations.

The position requires pursuing an Engineering degree, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Participate in the analysis of quality data and identification of trends.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in preparing quality documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Learn and apply various quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC).
• Conduct basic quality inspections and audits as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
