Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Quality Intern/Co-op in Mexico to join a dynamic automotive electronics environment. The role focuses on supporting QA activities, learning industry standards, and contributing to maintaining high product quality.

The intern will assist in procedures, analyze data, participate in audits, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive quality improvements. This is a part-time internship offering hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to meet quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in preparing quality documentation, reports, and presentations.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of quality principles is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
