Valeo is seeking a Quality Trainee/Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance. You will assist in test execution, document results, and report defects under senior engineers.

The role emphasizes learning SDLC, testing methodologies, and collaboration with development and product teams for high-quality software delivery. This is a fixed-term trainee/internship opportunity in a dynamic engineering environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or final year in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing techniques.
• Knowledge of basic database concepts (e.g., SQL) is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in executing test cases and test scripts under guidance of senior SQA engineers.
• Document test results, identify defects, and report them to the development team.
• Participate in functional, regression, and integration testing activities.
• Support creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SQA processes and procedures.
• Perform basic analysis of software requirements to understand testing scope.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of test cases and test scripts under the guidance of senior SQA engineers.

Job Qualifications
