Job summary

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV in Mexico is seeking a highly motivated Quality Intern/Co-op to join our team. The role supports quality assurance activities in an automotive electronics environment.

You will assist in developing procedures, analyze data, support root-cause investigations, and collaborate with engineering and production to uphold quality standards while learning industry tools like FMEA, 8D and SPC.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of quality principles is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis of quality data and identification of trends.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
