Safran UK is seeking a CNC Setter Programmer to join a small offline programming team. You will create CNC programs from CAD data using CAD/CAM software to support sheet metal production and machine shop 3/4 axis operations.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers, maintain program libraries, and ensure right-first-time outputs while upholding 5S+1 and health & safety standards on the shop floor.

Formación

• Experience using CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• Knowledge of CATIA V4/V5 is required.
• Background in sheet metal and machine shop environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Create CNC programs from CAD data using CAD/CAM software.
• Support production with offline programming for 3/4 axis machines.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure producibility.
• Maintain and update program libraries and reports.
• Raise tooling/material requirements and ensure 5S+1 standards.
• Provide cross-functional training and support other functions.
