Client Success Manager – Compensation Data & Benchmarking

Are you passionate about leading client‑facing teams, building strategic relationships, and turning complex data into decisions that shape workforce and pay strategies? Do you have experience managing client portfolios and mentoring others in a fast‑paced, consulting‑style environment? If so, we have an outstanding opportunity for you.

This full‑time hybrid position is based in our Mexico City office, with flexible work options available after initial training. The role supports multiple business areas and is a fantastic opportunity to join and lead within a collaborative, high‑performing team in our Global Capability Center.

What the day will look like

As a Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for both managing a client portfolio and leading a small team of client success consultants in delivering high‑quality compensation insights and services.

You Will:
  • Lead a team of Client Success Consultants (3+ years’ people/mentoring experience): Set priorities, allocate workload, coach and develop team members, and ensure participation, retention and high client satisfaction across the team portfolio.

  • Own key client relationships: Act as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring seamless compensation data submissions and delivering proactive, high‑impact support around job architecture, survey participation, data lifecycle and platform experience.

  • Be a compensation data authority: Use advanced Excel and internal tools to analyze sophisticated compensation datasets, turning them into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for clients.

  • Lead strategic projects: Oversee and review job‑matching and benchmarking projects, ensuring quality, consistency and timely delivery, and helping clients align their pay practices with market standards.

  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Product, Sales, Analytics, Operations) to resolve complex client issues, improve processes, and feed client feedback into product and service enhancements.

  • Champion products and innovation: Promote awareness and adoption of our methodologies, databases and tools, positioning the team as a strategic partner that supports clients’ talent and reward strategies.

How this opportunity is different

In this manager‑level role, you will combine hands‑on client work with team leadership and operational responsibility. You will:

  • Develop and refine both your analytical and leadership skills alongside industry experts.

  • Influence how compensation data and insights are delivered at scale, shaping client outcomes and internal best practices.

  • Build a strong internal network across multiple teams and geographies, with clear pathways for growth within Compensation, Analytics and Client Leadership roles.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of relevant experience in client success, consulting, total rewards, compensation data, or adjacent analytics roles, plus at least 1–2 years in a coordination or people‑lead capacity (formal or informal).

Key requirements:
  • Technical & analytical skills: Proficiency with MS Excel (vlookups, index/match, pivot tables, if/and/or, basic statistics); experience turning data into clear client‑ready insights and presentations.

  • Client relationship & portfolio management: Proven experience managing a client portfolio or key accounts, with a strong focus on client experience, retention and solution‑oriented support.

  • Team leadership & collaboration: Demonstrated ability to mentor, coordinate or lead others in a team environment (e.g., assigning work, reviewing outputs, coaching, sharing best practices), ideally within consulting, business services or data/analytics teams.

  • Adaptability & change mindset: Comfort working in an evolving compensation landscape, open to new tools, methodologies and process changes.

  • Communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts and data insights in a clear and concise way to non‑technical stakeholders; strong client‑facing communication (written and verbal).

  • Language: English proficiency C1 or higher (able to keep a fluent business‑conversation).

  • Experience with compensation data, salary surveys, benchmarking, or HR/compensation platforms is a strong plus but not strictly required if you bring a solid analytics + client‑facing background and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
