Merit is seeking a Supervisor II for its clean room operations in Tijuana. The role involves supervising production, assigning tasks, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with QA/engineers, train staff, and manage workloads to meet production goals. Candidates should have a related Bachelor's degree and at least three years of supervision experience in manufacturing, with bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities on some lines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish abilities may be required on certain lines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and production documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret complex production information.
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
• Ability to plan and organize production schedules and train staff.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.
• Computer skills including spreadsheets and database use.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise production of products to meet work orders and specs.
• Assign work, review performance, and provide feedback.
• Oversee clean room maintenance and safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA and engineers to maintain quality.
• Manage staffing: transfers, promotions, hires as needed.
• Train leads and workers in production methods and safety.
• Review operations and identify improvements to increase output.
• Ensure paperwork and line clearances are completed timely.
• Assist with second shift supervision as required.
• Perform related production supervision tasks.
