Job summary

Freudenberg Management (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. seeks a seasoned Chemical Process Engineer to lead polyurethane recipe development and provide technical support for production in Querétaro, Mexico.

You will work with Development Chemists to implement performance improvements, supervise MCU lab operations, and mentor setup teams. English advanced is required, with experience in IATF 16949 core tools, AMEF and GD&T drawing interpretation.

Qualifications

• Experience with process mapping, Lean manufacturing and MCU/curing.
• Manufacturing processes: process design, specification book and process release.
• IATF 16949 Core Tools, AMEF and GD&T drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and development polyurethane recipes

Provides technical support for production

Control and update technical documents

Works closely with Development Chemists to implement performance and processing improvements to existing materials

Reduction of production scraps

Team leading and training new employees in chemical process related

Qualifications:

• - Chemical Engineer or similar.
• - At least 4 or more years of experience in the area of Microcellular Urethane and Manufacturing Processes, preferably in automotive industrial.
• - Assembly and automated station processes, PLC programming, Robots or Cobots.
• - Process engineering process map, Lean methodology production processes, manufacturing process principles (assembly or plastic mixing or MCU or curing).
• - Manufacturing Processes (process design, specification book and process release).
• - IATF 16949, Core Tools, AMEF and GD&T drawing interpretation, basic knowledge in ISO 14001, 50001 and 45001.
• - English Advanced
