Güntner de México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Certification Engineer based in Apodaca, Nuevo León. This role involves ensuring high-engineering products meet global standards, focusing on regulatory compliance and quality management systems.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have 2+ years of relevant experience. Growth opportunities within the company and a competitive salary package are offered.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Quality Engineer (preferably within the HVAC, heat exchanger, or heavy manufacturing industries).
• Advanced English is a must (essential for interpreting international codes and communicating with global compliance bodies/suppliers).

Responsabilidades

• Drive regulatory compliance for products and materials according to international standards.
• Maintain and update procedures under ISO 9001 while leading audits.
• Coordinate certification process for new products and maintain supplier communication.
• Manage department budgets and negotiate certification costs with vendors/agencies.
• Serve as the internal champion for compliance issues within the organization.

Certification Engineer

We are looking for our next Certification Engineer to join our team in Apodaca, N.L.!

Are you passionate about ensuring high-engineering products meet the highest global standards? If you have a background in quality management systems, international regulations, and thrive in dynamic environments, this challenge is for you!

In this role, you will be the key player in driving regulatory compliance for our equipment, managing department budgets, and leading strategic savings projects.

Your Main Challenges:

• Regulatory Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert for key standards including PED, ASME, CRN, UL, and ETL, ensuring all products and materials meet international requirements.
• Quality Management Systems: Maintain and update procedures, workflows, and process maps under ISO 9001, while leading quarterly internal audits.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinate the certification process for new products and accessories, maintaining constant communication with suppliers and managing purchase requisitions/orders.
• Financial Tracking & KPIs: Drive cost-saving projects, negotiate certification costs with vendors/agencies, and develop the department's budget and monthly KPI reports.
• Internal Advocacy: Serve as the internal champion for compliance, spreading awareness and updates regarding certifications across the organization (Güntner).

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related fields). A specialization or strong focus on Thermal Engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Quality Engineer (preferably within the HVAC, heat exchanger, or heavy manufacturing industries).
• Languages: Advanced English is a must (essential for interpreting international codes and communicating with global compliance bodies/suppliers).
