Güntner Group in Apodaca is seeking a Certification Engineer to drive regulatory compliance for our equipment and manage department budgets. You will lead certification efforts for new products, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a thermal focus and at least 2 years in industrial/quality engineering, preferably in HVAC or heavy manufacturing. Advanced English is essential for global communications.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SME for standards including PED, ASME, CRN, UL, and ETL to ensure international compliance
• Maintain ISO 9001 procedures, workflows, and process maps; lead quarterly internal audits
• Coordinate certification for new products and accessories with suppliers
• Drive cost-saving projects, manage department budget, and develop monthly KPIs
• Champion compliance internally and communicate updates across Güntner organization

We are looking for our next Certification Engineer to join our team in Apodaca, N.L.!

In this role, you will be the key player in driving regulatory compliance for our equipment, managing department budgets, and leading strategic savings projects.

Your Main Challenges

• Regulatory Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert for key standards including PED, ASME, CRN, UL, and ETL, ensuring all products and materials meet international requirements.
• Quality Management Systems: Maintain and update procedures, workflows, and process maps under ISO 9001, while leading quarterly internal audits.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinate the certification process for new products and accessories, maintaining constant communication with suppliers and managing purchase requisitions/orders.
• Financial Tracking & KPIs: Drive cost-saving projects, negotiate certification costs with vendors/agencies, and develop the department's budget and monthly KPI reports.
• Internal Advocacy: Serve as the internal champion for compliance, spreading awareness and updates regarding certifications across the organization (Güntner).

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related fields). A specialization or strong focus on Thermal Engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Quality Engineer (preferably within the HVAC, heat exchanger, or heavy manufacturing industries).
• Languages: Advanced English is a must (essential for interpreting international codes and communicating with global compliance bodies/suppliers).
