Kohler is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own slip & glaze processes, oversee raw-material variability, and drive improvements in casting, drying, and firing operations at our Juárez plant. You will monitor critical parameters daily, implement standard work, and lead capacity and cost-reduction initiatives.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process stabilization, and collaboration with supervisors and lab personnel to ensure consistent quality and yield.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ceramic materials, or related processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for daily production, process control, and cost reduction.
• Monitor shop-floor parameters such as viscosity, specific gravity, and other rheological properties.
• Lead process changes for slip, glaze, and slurries based on data and trends.
• Manage raw materials, slip, glaze and slurry inventories and material availability.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap and rework.
• Develop and sustain standard work, process specs and engineering controls.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for action.
• Support and strengthen Kohler Operating System and Lean practices.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors, operators and junior engineers.
• Transfer critical ownership to manufacturing engineering for continuity.
