Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Purchasing Specialist in Puebla to manage electronic requisitions and purchase orders in coordination with North American plants. You will maintain SAP data, support cross‑regional procurement activities, and resolve invoicing or pricing issues with suppliers.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and fluency in English. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office is essential to support efficient procurement processes and savings

Responsibilities

• Process all Electronic Purchase Requisitions, with North America plants allocations.
• Prepares, executes and tracks purchase orders, including order confirmations and claims.
• Create and maintain SAP purchasing data (Info Record, Source List, Q-info).
• Maintain material group data and updates.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with involved regions, departments and suppliers.
• Support alignment with Category Buyers in North America.
• Resolve operational issues with internal clients, accounting and suppliers (blocked invoices, pricing, payments).
• Follow up pricing differences and obsolete materials with Commodity buyers in North America.
• Report savings in different reporting systems.
• Ticket resolution through Service Now and provide user support on purchasing processes.

Job description

• Process all Electronic Purchase Requisitions, according with Purchasing commodities assigned for North America Plants
• Prepares, executes and tracks purchase orders (including order confirmation, claims, etc.)
• Create and maintain relevant SAP purchasing data as needed. Examples include: Info Record, Source List, Q-info.
• Material group maintenance.
• May coordinate purchasing activities with involved regions, departments and suppliers.
• Support and maintain alignment with Category Buyers in North America.
• Coordinate solving of operational issues with internal clients, accounting and suppliers (blocked invoices, pricing, payment issues, etc.)
• Follow up pricing difference, obsolete materials or with a different status with the Commodity buyers in North America.
• Report the savings in the different reporting systems.
• Ticket resolution through Service Now.
• Provide support to internal and external users by addressing questions related to purchasing processes and, when necessary, redirecting them to the appropriate specialists.
