MKS Inc. is seeking a calibration-focused role based in Heroica Nogales, Sonora. The position reports to the Mfg/Operations Supervisor and centers on ensuring calibration accuracy across instruments and equipment used in manufacturing and laboratory settings.

Key duties include documenting results, inspecting and troubleshooting instruments, and maintaining calibration schedules to minimize downtime while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality policies.

Formación

  • Associate degree or equivalent vocational training is required.
  • 0-1 year of related experience is required.
  • Experience testing digital and/or analog systems.
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments.

Responsabilidades

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

This position will be reporting to the Mfg/Operations Supervisor

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications
  • Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all calibration activities for audit and compliance purposes
  • Regularly inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment to detect and correct any deviations from standard performance
  • Create and manage calibration schedules to ensure all equipment is calibrated at required intervals, preventing equipment downtime and maintaining operational efficiency
  • Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies
  • Keep calibration tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained
  • Offer technical support and guidance to other departments and personnel regarding calibration processes, procedures, and best practices
Required Skills:
  • Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
  • 0-1 year of related experience required
  • Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
