MKS Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician to conduct calibration of instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. The role involves documenting results, inspecting equipment, and maintaining calibration schedules.

You will support other departments with calibration processes and maintain compliant records, contributing to overall quality and efficiency in the production environment.

Formación

  • Associate degree or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 year related experience.
  • Experience testing digital and/or analog systems.
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments.

Responsabilidades

  • Calibrate instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Document calibration results with detailed records for audit purposes.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation to detect deviations.
  • Create and manage calibration schedules to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good condition and properly stored.

A Day in Your Life at MKS

This position reports to Production Supervisor

Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications

  • Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all calibration activities for audit and compliance purposes
  • Regularly inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment to detect and correct any deviations from standard performance
  • Create and manage calibration schedules to ensure all equipment is calibrated at required intervals, preventing equipment downtime and maintaining operational efficiency
  • Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies
  • Keep calibration tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained
  • Offer technical support and guidance to other departments and personnel regarding calibration processes, procedures, and best practices
Required Skills
  • Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
  • 0-1 year of related experience required
  • Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
