MKS is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Mexico to design, develop, and implement testing methodologies for new products and to sustain production lines. You will prepare diagnostic programs, design test fixtures, and ensure procedures meet specifications.

The role emphasizes LabVIEW-based testing, strong electronics troubleshooting, and driving Industry 4.0 and process automation projects across manufacturing operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety

Formación

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong LabVIEW programming and electronics troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment

• Plan labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices

• Lead and support Industry 4.0 and process automation initiatives to modernize testing and manufacturing workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. This role will be responsible for preparing diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures, and ensuring specifications and procedures are met for new products. In addition, the Senior Test Engineer will play a critical role in sustaining production lines by providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives and process automation projects, driving innovation and efficiency across manufacturing operations.

Skills You Bring

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Technical Skills:
  • Programming in LabVIEW
  • Strong electronic background (troubleshooting, testing)
  • Project management skills (planning, scheduling, resource allocation)
  • Experience designing and implementing test fixtures, diagnostic programs, and procedures for new products
  • Experience sustaining production lines and supporting manufacturing operations

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at, and above shoulder level
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
• Operates in a professional office and laboratory/manufacturing environment
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Dedication to safety when handling mechanical/electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat
