Job summary

EDAG in Puebla, Mexico seeks a CAE Engineer to lead full-vehicle crashworthiness simulations. You will develop CAE models, run crash simulations and propose optimization solutions based on results.

Collaborate with design, testing and product development teams, document findings, and present to stakeholders and customers. Fluent English required; German A2 desirable. You will gain exposure to global automotive projects and advanced CAE methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil engineering or related field.
• +1 year of CAE and crash simulation experience in automotive industry.
• Proficient with FEM methodologies and tools listed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, organized, proactive, responsible.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary, international teams.
• Fluent English; German A2 desirable.
• 1 year contract

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• +1 year of experience in CAE and structural/crash simulations within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of FEM methodologies and experience with tools such as ANSA, LS-DYNA, PAM-CRASH, Abaqus, Nastran, OpenFOAM, and Animator.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret simulation results and recommend engineering improvements.
• Self-driven, organized, and proactive work style with a high sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
• 1 year contract
