Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking a Buyer Indirect in Mexico to support SpinCo and coordinate indirect materials procurement. You will work with cross-functional teams, handle aQuire-based orders, and ensure timely responses to supplier proposals.

The role requires 3–4 years of procurement experience, English proficiency, and a willingness to engage with global suppliers. Expect collaboration across finance, legal, and logistics to optimize KPIs and cost quality.

Formación

• Nice to have experience in Facilities, maintenance supplies.
• Experience with supplier negotiation.
• Experience with MS Office.
• English advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Procurement of non-standard materials on aQuire basis.
• Processing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.
• Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.
• Managing the recruitment of suppliers.
• Tracking goods from procurement to receipt.
• Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them.
• Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team.
• Constant liaison with suppliers and peers.
• Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system.
• Sending out samples, organizing transport with the help of transport managers where necessary.
• Requesting and documenting safety data sheets.
• Continuous monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job).
• Preparation and recording of reports.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. The “Buyer Indirect” will be based in Flex North, reporting to Commodity Manager Indirect. This role will be coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials.

Responsibilities

• Using different forms of caring- e-auction, sealed, open care.
• Procurement of non-standard materials on aQuire basis.
• Ongoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and the Flex GBS team.
• Processing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.
• Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality.
• Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.
• Managing the recruitment of suppliers.
• Tracking goods from procurement to receipt.
• Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them.
