Nissan Mexicana in Toluca is seeking a Buyer 1 to negotiate pricing, manage purchases, and coordinate procurement of after-sales parts for plants and dealers. You will develop suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets and oversee purchasing team administrative work.

Required: 2–3 years in automotive, bilingual in English and Spanish, and knowledge of electronics components. Hybrid work arrangement offered with growth opportunities and a focus on cost reduction and supply continuity.

• Electronics components and market knowledge required.

Develops and manages suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while ensuring a continuous supply of materials. Collaborates with internal departments to resolve supply issues and oversees the administrative support activities of the purchasing team.**A Day in the Life:**Negotiates and establishes commodity prices for production parts. Handles assigned commodities. Ensures cost control in accordance with the Nissan revival plan cost reduction goals and requirements. Locates suppliers and develops their abilities to meet current and future production parts requirements. Ensures suppliers meet Nissan’s goals for quality, cost and delivery. Performs comparative analysis of competing suppliers to select most competitive source for a specified commodity. Establishes contracts for assigned commodities; maintains purchase orders, and related purchasing records; maintains files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials and prices. Coordinates activities between all departments and supplier base to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts and resolution of supply issues and problems. Plans, develops, implements and maintains cost reduction plans in support of the department’s cost reduction goals. Coordinates all functions, procedures and system related concerns between NNA-National and NNA-Smyrna regarding service, accessory, remanufactured and key value parts.
