Nissan Mexicana is seeking a Senior Specialist PMO in Mexico City to lead cross-functional teams across the development lifecycle, ensuring cost, quality, timing, profitability, and market performance targets are met for the Americas region.

You will monitor progress, validate assumptions, analyze financial performance, identify risks, and drive alignment to keep projects on track and deliver business results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive industry or PMO roles.
• Experience in planning, financial analysis, business operations, or related functions.
• Ability to analyze financial indicators such as operating profit and delivery costs.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel 30%–50%.

This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional and multicultural teams throughout the development lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring business objectives are achieved in terms of cost, quality, timing, profitability, and market performance across the Americas region.

A Day in the Life of This Role:

You will work closely with multiple functions teams to monitor project progress, validate business assumptions, and drive alignment across regional markets. You will analyze financial and operational performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to ensure projects remain on track and deliver committed business results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional and multicultural teams to ensure projects follow the established development process while meeting cost, quality, timing, and financial targets.
• Analyze business, financial, and market information to provide recommendations that support revenue, profitability, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness.
• Validate inputs and deliverables from various functions, including Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders across the Americas region.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Monitor product and program performance, explain variances against business commitments, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
• Track key business indicators and financial results to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support the achievement of Sales & Marketing expenditure targets and business commitments.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports to management and key stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar) or a business-related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the automotive industry or in Program Management roles in other industries.
• Experience in planning, financial analysis, business operations, or related functions.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and explain financial indicators such as operational profit, delivery costs, and business performance metrics.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Availability to travel 30% to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within automotive planning, product development, or financial analysis functions.
• Experience managing databases and business reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability to travel internationally across Nissan operations worldwide.
• Demonstrated ability to improve, develop, and implement new business processes.
• Confidence presenting to management audiences and executive stakeholders.
