Flex is seeking a Global Operational Excellence Senior Manager in Guadalajara South to lead lean and six sigma initiatives across processes, quality, and operations. You will standardize KOIs, create policies, and drive data-driven reviews at Flex sites to improve performance.

You will coach Lean deployment, train teams, assess CIMT operations, and guide cross-functional improvements to deliver sustained value for the organization and its customers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Degree – Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs.
• Management skills and technical experience across Finance, HR, Materials and Operations.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to define problems and analyze data.

Job Summary

_To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Operational Excellence Sr Manager _ located in Guadalajara South.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Senior Manager. As a Global Operational Excellence Sr Manager you are responsible to support to establish the flex future factory operating systems in relation to Process/Quality/Equipment/MES engineering and operations management. Identify the operations KOIs which are relevant for flex future factory operating system. Standardize the definition and calculations of these KOIs in structured way so, that it will be used for a review process in the sites. Create policies to implement these KOIs across flex sites which will include naming standards, process steps to be included and how data maintenance to be performed and how compliance to these polices will be measured.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
• Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization.
• In charge of eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment.
• Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.
• Drive and Yokoten the identified best practices based on the accord timelines.
• Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs.
• Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization by co-guiding and co-facilitating Lean Deployment.
• Perform assessment of CIMT Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps.
• Diligently participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.
• For assigned special project/segment/customer priorities to formulate and propose strategy of Lean.
• Transformation. Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities.
• Incentive a participation and training of Flex Employees, Suppliers and Customers.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies.
• Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site.
• May have P&L responsibility for the function.
• Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.
