Flex in Guadalajara, North Campus, is seeking a Business Excellence Engineer to drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across a manufacturing footprint. You will lead continuous improvement projects, reduce waste, and sit as a change agent to improve productivity, quality and delivery.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Leader, you will deploy Lean Enterprise values, validate standards, and coach teams in Kaizen and CIMT practices to sustain cost savings and performance gains across the

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
• Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects focused on productivity and quality.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Job Summary

_To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Business Excellence Engineer, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Leader, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements._

_ What a typical day looks like: _

Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.

• Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization.

• In charge of eliminating waste and create value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment.

• Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.

• Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs

• Identify, Drive and Yokoten Bestpractices based Kaizen projects on the accord timilines

• Conduct Industrial Engineering lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean culture thru out the organization by guiding and facilitating Continues Improvement Lean Deployment.

• Perform assessment of Continuous Improvement Maturity Tracker (CIMT) Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps.

• Agile participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.

• Transformation (continuous workshop in 90 days). Facilitate Continu eImprovement Transformation activities through Kaizen, workshops and Small Group Activities.

• Comprehend and use Center point portal as depository to enable data research and cost saving effectiveness

• Achieve Industrial, Lean & 6 sigma training & Certification in order to become subject matter expert in the organization

_ The experience we’re looking to add to our team: _

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence roles.
• Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Proven experience leading and implementing continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage improvement initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with a strong results-oriented approach.
• High tolerance for pressure and ability to effectively navigate challenges and changing priorities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
