Flex, a global manufacturing leader, seeks a Director of Program Management in Guadalajara, North Campus. You will lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to deliver high-impact programs with a focus on customer satisfaction and growth.

You will shape corporate policies, drive strategic plans, budgets, and ROI analyses, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and cost targets while fostering collaborative execution across global teams.

Formación

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English.
• Proven leadership in Operations Management /Program Management, managing complex cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance.
• Strong business and financial acumen: understanding of P&L drivers, budgeting/forecasting, cost modeling, and KPI-based performance management in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Drive end-to-end execution of operational initiatives—aligning scope, timeline, resources, and financial targets—driving decisions on trade-offs and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for supporting the performance of project teams and project managers.
• Provide leadership and support to project managers to align with PM processes and policies.

• Ensure cross-functional project teams participate in planning, execution, and control to meet requirements on time and within budget.
• Oversee governance of KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Productivity) across sites and align with priorities.

Job Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Program Management located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the General Manager, Director, Program Management role involves being responsible for developing corporate, global, and organizational policies, and directing cross functional activities to deliver quality programs to external customers, with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention to generate growth for the business.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work with Operations globally to ensure the appropriate Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer projects.
• Accountable for supporting the performance of Project team(s) and Project manager(s)
• Provide the necessary leadership and support to Project Managers to manage projects in line with project management processes and associated policies and procedures.
• Support the program teams globally by developing strategic plans, goals, and timelines, and measuring operational performance, cost, and delivery results.
• Ensure collaborative cross-functional Project team(s) and Project manager(s) participation to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all phases of a project or subproject to ensure work efforts are executed on time, within budget, and according to stated requirements reliably and repeatedly.
• Oversee the definition, tracking, and governance of key operational KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Productivity) across sites, ensuring alignment to business priorities.
• Ensure effective communication between cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Finance) to execute customer programs reliably from planning through steady-state production.
• Drive cost and performance improvements through governance, metrics, project management, and strong financial management (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-to-serve).
• Partner with Finance and site leadership to build operating plans, budgets and forecasts; track performance vs. plan and drive corrective actions.
• Own governance for major investments (Capex): business cases, prioritization, approval workflow, spend tracking, and ROI/post-investment reviews; review site P&L drivers as needed.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English.
• Proven leadership in Operations Management /Program Management, managing complex cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance, influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Strong business and financial acumen: understanding of P&L drivers, budgeting/forecasting, cost modeling, and KPI-based performance management in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Drive end-to-end execution of operational initiatives—aligning scope, timeline, resources, and financial targets—driving decisions on trade-offs (cost, capacity, service), proactively managing risks, and ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Strategic, execution-focused mindset with strong communication skills—balancing operational detail with long-term business vision.
