GDL Connect in Guadalajara, Mexico, invites an entry-level Accountant to grow their career within healthcare finance operations. You will assist daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close activities.

The role offers hands-on experience with GAAP, Excel-driven tasks, and collaboration across departments to ensure data accuracy. This position provides growth opportunities in a US-based firm with nearshoring operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (completed).
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in banking/financial services.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to healthcare industry regulations and financial workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations.

About the role:

This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare finance operations. This role will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Support the processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties.
• Help maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subledgers.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Track and reconcile funding, payoffs, and servicing entries.
• Collaborate with the different departments for financial data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed).
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in the banking, or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc).
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Salary $24k gross
• Full law benefits (20 days of Christman bonus at year, 37.5% of vacation prime instead of 25%)
