SEGULA Technologies in Mexico City seeks a Mid-Level Design & Release Engineer (DRE) specializing in Body Closures to drive development, integration, and release of static and moving closure assemblies. You will manage end-to-end lifecycle from 3D packaging to manufacturing launch, collaborating with OEM design teams, CAE analysts, quality engineers, and Tier-1 suppliers in a hybrid work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5 years in Design & Release or Product Engineering for automotive closures/BIW.
• Proficient in Siemens NX, CATIA V5, or 3DEXPERIENCE with PLM tools.
• Experience with sheet metal stamping, hinges, latches, and sealing interfaces.
• Fluent in English and Spanish for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, packaging, release, and lifecycle management for dynamic closures and static structures.
• Engineer moving systems: hinges, latches, power closing actuators, weather-strip interfaces.
• Perform 3D packaging studies and clearance analysis with NX/CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFMEAs, and BOM management.
• Support CAE analyses and prototype testing to resolve fitment or functional issues.
• Coordinate with Tier-1 suppliers and internal teams to ensure DFMA feasibility.
• Manage DCN/ECN processes and PLM workflows for lifecycle control.
