HSBC Mexico is seeking a Consultant Specialist - SRE in the Mexico City area (Azcapotzalco). The role emphasizes building reliable, scalable cloud production environments, implementing SRE practices, and maintaining high-availability systems.

You will manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automate tasks with Python/Bash/Go, and collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations to drive resilient services and rapid incident response.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in SRE/DevOps/Production Support roles (3–5 years).
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and support production systems for high availability and scalability.
• Implement SRE best practices including monitoring, SLOs/SLIs, and incident response.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development to streamline deployments.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and ops teams to drive improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve incidents.
• Document procedures and post-incident reviews to foster learning.
