Mam de la Frontera, S.A. de C.V. is seeking an industrial engineer to lead production teams and ensure plans align with customer requirements in a fast paced plant in Tijuana, Mexico.

The role emphasizes leadership, use of production metrics, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and 6S standards while coordinating resources and training staff to improve speed, quality, and safety on the floor.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years experience as industrial engineer or in a related field.
• Ability to set priorities and manage staff performance.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and 6S practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Carry out production plans according to sales orders and required dates.
• Supervise production process and manage human and material resources.
• Coordinate shifts and ensure staff fill out required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Train staff and assess competence on the line.
• Ensure product and material meeting defined requirements.
• Provide feedback to staff and remove obstacles to performance.

Comply with ISO standards.

- Carry out the production plan according to sales orders and dates required by the customer (in coordination with the planner).

- Check that installed capacity is available and analyze if the resources are sufficient.

- Establish functions and duties for subordinates (Job Description).

- Supervise and control the production process, managing the human and material resources under your responsibility to meet production plans in terms of quality and quantity.

- Set priorities.

- Responsible for shipping. Coordinate shift start (check quantity to produce, available materials) to produce

- Ensure compliance with internal regulations.

- Give feedback to the staff in charge.

- Monitor the attitudes of subordinates.

- Participate in continuous improvement projects.

- Ensure that production staff follow work instructions, visual aids, blueprints, etc.

- Assign staff to provide hands‑on training to production operators and evaluate their competence.

- Make sure that production staff correctly fill out the forms assigned to their position or operation that affect product or process characteristics.

- Ensure that production process performance indicators are met.

- Ensure and follow up on the introduction of new models to the production lines.Check that the product requirements are clearly defined and that the product and materials meet the specified requirements.

- He/She is responsible for the documentation assigned to the production area (B.O.M., Drawings, Criteria, etc.) along with the area leader. Industrial engineering.They should be a very positive, dedicated, and reliable person, with the potential to motivate and manage staff performance, increasing the flexibility and speed of the production chain. They are responsible for removing the different obstacles that limit the performance or development of the people under their charge.
