OPmobility seeks a PMO Manager to lead governance and optimization of project management methodologies across the organization. You will coordinate lifecycle processes from acquisition to serial production, ensuring global alignment with OPTIXXX standards and KPI-driven performance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, IT, and other functions to promote best practices, implement tool deployments, and drive continuous improvement in a large automotive group.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, project management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive industry with cross-functional project experience.
• Knowledge of APQP and automotive product development processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

BG Program PMO Manager

Position Summary

The BG Program PMO Manager is responsible for defining, governing, and continuously improving the organization’s project management methodologies, processes, and tools throughout the acquisition, product development, industrialization, and serial production lifecycle.

Acting as the Business Owner of OPTIXXX, this role ensures methodology consistency, drives process excellence, supports strategic initiatives, and promotes the adoption of best practices across the Business Group. The position serves as a key interface between Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Industrialization, IT, and other functional teams to ensure efficient and standardized project execution globally.

Key Responsibilities

OPTIXXX Governance & Methodology Management

• Serve as the Business Owner of OPTIXXX and oversee the governance, deployment, and continuous improvement of project management methodologies.
• Coordinate acquisition, product development, industrialization, and serial modification processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and project management standards.
• Ensure methodologies remain compliant with OPTIXXX requirements, organizational structures, and Business Group specific needs.
• Lead the evaluation, approval, and implementation of major methodology enhancements and new initiatives.
• Ensure active participation and alignment of all impacted Business Owners for significant process evolutions.
• Facilitate OPTIXXX governance committees, driving collaboration, ownership, communication, and best-practice sharing across methodology stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring & PMO Excellence

• Monitor adherence to OPTIXXX standards through Business Group, program, and project KPIs.
• Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement to support the BG PMO Progress Plan.
• Consolidate and present annual KPI reports, insights, and recommendations to Business Group leadership and Project Management Office teams.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analyses related to project management processes, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Process Improvement & Standards Management

• Lead the continuous development of OPTIXXX knowledge areas, including processes, standards, training materials, reporting tools, and execution methodologies.
• Drive annual process improvement initiatives based on user feedback, lessons learned, PMO improvement plans, APQP requirements, and business needs.
• Ensure consistency of PMO Engineer activities and promote the OPTIXXX mindset across the organization.
• Integrate updates to procedures, work instructions, and forms in compliance with Integrated Management System requirements.
• Coordinate and approve cross-functional standards updates impacting OPTIXXX processes.
• Maintain project management standards documentation and support publication within the Business Group Document Management System.

Digital Tools & Deployment

• Define business requirements and manage budgets for project management execution and reporting tools.
• Partner with IT and digital teams to develop, enhance, and maintain PMO systems and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure successful deployment of process and tool enhancements through effective communication, change management, and user support.
• Coordinate implementation activities with regional PMO leaders, key users, and local stakeholders to ensure global adoption and sustainability.

Training & Capability Development

• Assess training needs and identify opportunities to improve existing OPTIXXX training programs.
• Develop and deploy new training modules and learning resources to strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, standardization, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong background in Program Management, Engineering, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Quality, or Project Management.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives in a global environment.
• Familiarity with APQP methodology and automotive product development processes.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and customer requirements.
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
• Experience with project management, reporting, and governance tools.
• Strong analytical and KPI management capabilities.
