Brookshire Grocery Company in Veracruz is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations, ensure product quality, and drive department sales. You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while delivering friendly customer service and high-quality baked goods.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in bakery, plus Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related bakery experience.
• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive for company business per policy.
• Food Handler certification is required.
• Manager Food Safety certification is required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise bakery staff; interview, hire, train, and develop partners.
• Review historical data to forecast sales; manage inventory and pricing.
• Ensure proper inventory receipt, ordering, and paperwork accuracy.
• Accountable for bakery sales, labor, and profitability.
• Uphold quality control and food safety standards; inspect baked goods.
• Plan work priorities for self and team based on demand and inventory.
• Assist with all aspects of bakery production including packaging and delivery.
• Decorate products to promote themes and merchandise displays.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work environment; follow safety procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions by phone and in person.
