La Cabra in CDMX, Mexico is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our team on-site. The Baker will work closely with the Head Baker and fellow bakers to prepare breads, viennoiserie, and pastries, ensuring flavors meet our high standards.

You should have experience in artisan or sourdough-focused baking, strong dough handling skills, and the ability to follow precise recipes under time pressure. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.

Formación

• Experience in an artisan or sourdough-focused bakery.
• Solid understanding of fermentation, dough handling, and baking fundamentals.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while working under time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Physical ability to work early hours, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Be part of daily bakery operations, ensuring production meets demand while maintaining quality standards.
• With guidance from the Head Baker, help maintain standards and quality control of all bakery products.
• Execute dough mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking with attention to timing.
• Assist in maintaining Health, Safety and Cleaning standards in the bakery.
• Provide support to Head Baker or Front of House Lead/Manager as required.
• Work closely with Head Baker and team to support smooth production flow.
• Assist in developing new bakery products.
• Run preparation of all breads, viennoiserie, and pastries, adhering to recipes and brand guidelines.
• Participate in product development and testing with the team.
