PALO IT is hiring a Backend Java Developer to lead design and implementation of scalable backend systems for innovative digital solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and contribute to R&D projects across a global consultancy.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of backend experience with Java, strong Spring ecosystem knowledge, and a passion for clean code and problem-solving.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Solid experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm, RBAC, autoscaling, is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Experience with Apache Camel or WebFlux is a plus.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Build and optimize microservices architectures with clean architecture and best practices.
• Participate in full SDLC including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, BAs, PMs, and Tech Leads to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, tests, and clean code principles.
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to R&D projects and community initiatives within PALO IT.
