PALO IT is seeking a Backend Java Developer in Mexico City to design and implement scalable backend systems for innovative digital solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical decisions, and mentor other developers.

You will design and maintain scalable services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, develop RESTful APIs, build microservices, and participate in the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment. Fluent English and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• JUnit and Mockito for testing; Agile methodologies.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud) a plus; Docker & Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security, performance.
• Build and optimize microservices architectures with best practices.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, BAs, POs, and Tech Leads on solutions.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, automated tests, and clean code practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to R&D projects within PALO IT.
