Formación

  • 12+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a Technology & Project Management role.
  • Experience in leading Project Managers and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to engage with external clients and internal customers.

You will be responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives across the Nasdaq Market Technology portfolio of Software Products and Software Services for Market Infrastructure Operations and New Markets. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic group of Project Manager professionals responsible for managing Nasdaq Market Technology projects as part of the Nasdaq Client Success organization. You would join a team dedicated to orchestrating and executing projects with precision. From Initiation to completion, we leverage diverse skills sets in planning, communication and problem-solving to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. With a collaborative mindset, our team navigates challenges, adapts to change, and foster an environment where innovation thrives.

Your role and responsibilities

You will lead cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to world-leading Market Infrastructure Operators and New Markets. You will be responsible for essential project management activities and stakeholder interaction, building strong relations and trust with your client; some travel to the client site may be required.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the Project Management team.

Responsibilities
  • Overall Project planning and follow up working closely with the Nasdaq sales representative and your counterpart project manager at the customer.
  • Stakeholder management as part of reporting to monthly internal and external steering committees.
  • Progress reporting and quality assurance.
  • Budget creation and follow-up.
  • Risk management including mitigation actions.
Qualifications
  • Overall experience of 12+ years with at least 5 years in a Technology & Project Management role.
  • Project Management, Test Management or Technical Account Management experience with technical complex systems in an international environment.
  • A track record of large complex delivery projects where you have been overall responsible for the full cycle from initial budgeting and planning until customer project acceptance.
  • A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a high pace environment.
  • Experience leading other Project Managers as the Program Manager, and an interest in mentoring others to help develop the Project teams and our Project Management team.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal customers.
  • Experience in cross-functional environments and understanding of the software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, development and verification).
  • Knowledge of Financial Technology and how that supports financial infrastructure and capabilities.
  • Education: a degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other related field.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with both Agile and traditional Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Experience as a developer, Business Analyst, Solution Architect or similar.
  • SaaS experience.
  • Experience in managing Agile projects and from being a Scrum Master.
