GE Aerospace in Mexico seeks a Mechanical Designer to tackle mechanical design problems of low to medium complexity across multiple teams. You will apply hand calculations or Finite Element Analysis as needed to support actuation mechanisms and related components.

The role emphasizes ownership of technical substantiation, thorough documentation, and clear communication of project status to stakeholders. Collaboration with mentors is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• English at intermediate level; Spanish at advanced level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop mechanical solutions through analysis, design, testing and integration.
• Execute tasks under guidance of a program leader and mentors.
• Own technical and business substantiation of projects and present on boards.
• Communicate project status and issues that affect fulfillment.
• Demonstrate solid mechanical background for technical discussions.
• Prepare invention disclosures to protect technology.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data per policies.
